Nordic Drilling Update

For Immediate Release

WINNIPEG, MB. (July 8, 2008) - Donald Benson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nordic Oil and Gas Ltd. (“Nordic” or, the “Company”), today announced that the Company has commenced drilling its first well in Lloydminster. The well will be completed shortly and the rig will then be moved to the second of three drilling sites selected.

“Given that this is development drilling, the wells will be put on production as soon as possible,” he stated. “Once on production, we will then be in position to announce the initial flow rates from each well.”

In addition, Mr. Benson also stated that perforation and testing continues at the Company’s well at Preeceville, Saskatchewan and that perforation and fracing have been completed at four intervals thus far, with three additional intervals remaining.

“Samples have been extracted from the formations and forwarded to an independent laboratory for analysis,” Mr. Benson said. “We expect to have results from this analysis in the coming days.

“Further updates will be issued when additional information becomes available to us from the site,” he added.
