Operations (Gas) - Peace River Arch / Talbot Lake In June 2007, the Company acquired approximately 1,720 acres in the Peace River Arch region of northwest Alberta. Currently, the Company has 3 sections on the shallow gas trend in northern Alberta in the Talbot Lake area. The Company recently received confirmation from Alberta Energy that our application for a continuation of the three leases it has on the Talbot Lake property has been approved for a period of one year. The Peace River Arch Property is adjacent to production from the Blue Sky/Gething zone at a relatively shallow depth of 525 metres and all of the land is within 1-2 miles of potential tie-in. Three wells have been licensed for Gething and Blue Sky gas production. In addition, a pipeline right-of-way runs through a portion of the Company’s land, resulting in the potential for a tie-in of our wells. The Company has received approval to have the lease, which expired in January 2011, continued for one additional year based on the geological mapping it has done on the lands.
