NORDIC OIL AND GAS LTD. ACQUIRES SPECIAL EXPLORATION PERMIT

WINNIPEG, MB, Dec. 11 /CNW/ - Donald Benson, President announced that the
company has acquired an 80% interest in a Special Exploration Permit for the
petroleum and natural gas rights covering some 46,080 gross acres in the
Preeceville area of east central Saskatchewan. This new permit is adjoining
the current holding in the area bringing the total gross land holding to
137,780 acres.
The company recently drilled and cased an exploration well on its
Preeceville lands. The presence of relatively thick, highly porous, clean
sands in conjunction with other data provides the company with encouragement
to further evaluate the property. The company plans to complete further
seismic over its lands and determine where best to drill the next well. It is
expected that a second well will be drilled during the winter or in early
spring of 2004.
In Joffre, the company has completed the surveying of the pipeline right
of way for the well drilled in October and the pipeline should be installed in
the next week or two. The production from this well will bring daily natural
gas production to in excess of 1,000,000 cubic feet per day.
