NORDIC LICENSES NEW WELL IN JOFFRE                              

WINNIPEG, MB. (December 27, 2006) - Donald Benson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nordic Oil and Gas Ltd. (the “Corporation”), today announced that the Corporation has licensed a new well with partners at 01-03-58-07 W4 in Joffre, Alberta, Canada.  Nordic will pay 25% of the costs to earn a 20% interest position in the well along with 1 1/2 sections of land.

“We know that there are rigs available and we expect to contract one in the first week of the New Year,” Mr. Benson stated.

Nordic Oil and Gas is a junior oil and gas exploration company, which is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and trades under the symbol NOG.
