Nordic's 15-12-38-25 W4 Well Placed on Production

WINNIPEG, MB. (May 18, 2007) - Donald Benson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nordic Oil and Gas Ltd. (TSXV: NOG) (“Nordic” or, “the Company”), today announced that the Company’s 15-12-38-25 W4 well in Joffre, Alberta, Canada. has been placed on production

The well was drilled and cased in November 2006 into the Basal Belly River formation and in early December, Nordic announced that the initial interpretation of the analysis on the well indicated a presence of multiple gas zones gas in the Belly River formation.

“We are obviously delighted to bring this new well on to production,” Mr. Benson stated, adding that this now brings to seven the number of wells in Joffre that Nordic has on production.

The Company also has three Coal Bed Methane wells standing at Joffre. It is anticipated that these wells will be on stream in the second quarter of 2007. In addition, the Company also has a further 56 locations to be drilled in Joffre.
